Here is a collection of haiku which were inspired by Amy. There are an even dozen, all written during the past five days. I composed all of them on my phone, so it's going to take a little while...but it's worth it. Hopefully they will be quicker for you to read than for me to type...anyway, in reverse order (latest to earliest), here are some poems inspired by a very beautiful lady.
the moon hides her face
from yours -- though she is lovely,
you light the night more
imagination;
a symphony of darkness,
your hair in the wind
my heart trips on your own;
I show you a forest, your
eyes shine through a glade
as morning rises,
thoughts of your beauty enchant me --
my heart shines, awake
an island pool,
a mountain lake, an ocean's face --
your eyes' hue shames all
cornflower mixed with
the glow of a robin's egg --
your eyes outshine both
river rushes on
blue is stolen see it rise
beauty floods your eyes
moonlight in your hair
silvering your curls as I
hold them in my hands
azure skies, jealous of your
mesmerizing eyes, drift off
on a breeze of shame
deepest summer sky
blue never imagined rests
only in your eyes
the sun pours into
my window, bright and jealous --
for you are my light
an ocean of blue --
your eyes, full of summer sun
shine on in my dreams
